Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Data Owner Lead within Asset & Wealth Management to drive data governance, quality and strategy across fees data. You will collaborate with technology, product owners and business teams to define data requirements, describe data, ensure data quality and mitigate data risks.

The role focuses on developing metrics, reporting and analytics dashboards to enable business operations and decision making, fostering a data-driven culture with a focus on growth and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in data management, governance, or related field.
• Experience in data management, governance, risk analytics, or related area.
• Proven leadership to manage delivery timelines and meet goals.
• Deep understanding of data management principles, governance, and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Implement strategic plans to deliver data solutions supporting operations and objectives.
• Manage project execution, milestones, risks, bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with partners to document data meanings with metadata for understandability and control.
• Document requirements for data sourcing, content and quality; coordinate with tech and business partners.
• Develop processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks across the data lifecycle.
• Support analytics by identifying data required for analytics platforms and projects.
• Communicate data issues promptly, maintaining data integrity and trust.
• Partner with technology, product, UX and business to ensure data sourcing, content and quality meet requirements.
• Manage and guide staff in data-related tasks and initiatives.
