Job summary

Orchard Hill College Academy Trust is seeking a Data & Outcomes Analyst for the central team to turn complex data into meaningful insights that drive school improvement and safeguarding oversight. Working closely with senior leaders, Principals and central teams, you will transform data into insights, develop reporting solutions, and provide intelligence to support planning.

You will work with senior leaders to develop reporting using Power BI, Perspective Observatory and Excel, monitor trends

Qualifications

• Experience in data analysis, reporting and BI.
• Strong Excel and data visualization skills.
• Knowledge of GDPR and information governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead data collection, validation, analysis and interpretation across schools to support strategic decisions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and KPI reports using Power BI, Perspective Observatory and Excel.
• Monitor trends in outcomes, attendance and safeguarding to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy and GDPR compliance across systems.
• Support leaders with reporting, forecasting, benchmarking and performance analysis.

We are lookingfor a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data & Outcomes Analystto join our central team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotalrole in driving data-informed decision-making across the Trust, helping to improve outcomes for children and young people. Working closely with seniorleaders, Principals and central teams, you will transform complex data intomeaningful insights, develop impactful reporting solutions, and provide theintelligence needed to support school improvement, safeguarding oversight andstrategic planning.

KeyResponsibilities

• Lead the collection, validation, analysisand interpretation of data across schools and central services to supportstrategic decision-making.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIreports and management information using Power BI, PerspectiveObservatory, Excel and other reporting tools.
• Monitor trends in outcomes, attendance,behaviour and safeguarding, identifying risks, opportunities and areas forimprovement.
• Ensure high standards of data quality,accuracy and compliance, including adherence to GDPR and informationgovernance requirements.
• Support school leaders and seniorstakeholders through insightful reporting, forecasting, benchmarking andperformance analysis.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in data analysis,reporting, business intelligence or information management.
• Advanced Excel skills and experiencecreating dashboards and reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solvingabilities, with the confidence to interpret complex data and present clearrecommendations.
• Excellent attention to detail, with acommitment to maintaining data accuracy, integrity and compliance.
• Strong communication and stakeholdermanagement skills, with the ability to build effective relationships andexplain data to a range of audiences.
