Job summary

The Legal Director (TLD) is seeking a Business Operations Assistant / Data Apprentice to join a specialist legal services team supporting growing UK companies. You will balance practical business operations with structured apprenticeship training, mentored by the Business Operations Lead.

As you progress, you’ll gain hands‑on experience with CRM data, Excel reporting, and BI tools, with a long‑term aim to build dashboards and automate processes.

Qualifications

• Strong numeracy, logical thinking and an analytical mindset.
• Basic Excel knowledge or a genuine interest in developing spreadsheet skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to accuracy.
• Curiosity about technology, data and how businesses operate.
• Good organisation, reliability and willingness to take responsibility.
• Clear communication skills and confidence asking questions.
• Enthusiasm for learning new skills and completing a structured apprenticeship programme.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CRM records and update spreadsheets and reports.
• Investigate data discrepancies and support proposals, meetings, marketing activity and wider business administration.
• Develop skills in Excel, Power Query, Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Progress towards creating dashboards, improving reporting and automating processes.
