The role:
The Jisc digital transformation programme is a three-year, organisation-wide initiative aimed at delivering a seamless, consistent, and high-quality end-to-end experience for all customers, regardless of how they engage with us or what their needs are. Anchored in five key customer journeys identified through analysis of user activities and pain points, the programme builds on the achievements of the Group CTO transformation initiative. It underscores the strategic importance of transformation across Jisc, leveraging foundational investments to drive impactful, customer-focused change throughout the organisation.
The Data Modeller role sits within the Enterprise Architecture team who are responsible for developing and maintaining a target architecture and associated roadmaps, design patterns, standards, and models to support and govern change delivery across Jisc’s Transformation Programme and the wider enterprise.
As the Data Modeller, you will be accountable for designing and maintaining conceptual, logical and physical data models to support architectural and transformation activities, to enable analytical and operational use cases within our data platforms.
