Job summary

Une entreprise dynamique recherche un Database Analyst ou Data Engineer pour rejoindre son équipe. Vous aurez pour mission d'optimiser et maintenir les bases de données tout en assurant une transition efficace vers des solutions cloud. Avec une forte compétence en SQL et en migration de systèmes, vous contribuerez à la feuille de route de la plateforme de données, en soutenant les opérations en environnement cloud et sur site.

Qualifications

• Expérience avec SQL Server ou Oracle.
• Capacité à analyser et résoudre des problèmes de performance SQL.
• Expérience dans la migration de systèmes vers le cloud.

Experienced Database Analyst or Data Engineer with SQL experience required.

Working within a team of in-house developers, testers, cloud operations, and support services, you will be empowered to take the client’s product to greater heights and contribute to building a data platform roadmap.

Looking for someone who can make an immediate contribution by supporting, maintaining, tuning, and optimizing the data platform in lab conditions, as observed in our CI/CD pipeline, and when live for on-premise and cloud customers, assist with third-line support.

Contribute to the current model, build a roadmap to leverage automation, review and update technology/architecture for long-term viability, and provide insights for the DevOps pipeline, infusing key analytics technologies where appropriate. Experience with data platform transitions and upgrades is desired.

The ultimate responsibility, as part of the team, is to ensure the solution maintains high performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.

Skills/Experience

1. Experience with relational databases (SQL Server and/or Oracle) in a DBA/Data Engineer role.
2. Query troubleshooting skills, such as isolating poor-performing SQL blocks, determining root cause, and developing remediation actions.
3. Experience with database management tools.
4. Experience with database performance tuning.
5. Experience working through customer transitions from on-premise/hybrid to cloud.
6. Experience with data migration strategies and moving large-scale production systems in on-premise or cloud environments.
7. Knowledge of cloud development platforms and options.
8. Proven track record in designing, building, and maintaining enterprise-level applications.

Qualifications

• A degree or industry-recognized equivalent in a computer/numerate subject.

Person Profile

Enterprise-scale experience working with relational databases and cloud/hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, and database migrations.

Technical aptitude to learn new/emerging technologies and understand relevant cloud trends.

Ability to blend near-term needs with long-term vision and provide leadership on the long-term data platform vision.
