Job summary

Harnham in London is looking for a Data Modeller or Analytics Engineer who wants to move into Data Architecture. You will shape how data is structured across a complex organisation, with mentorship and a clear path into architecture.

You will develop and maintain models across projects, collaborate with data engineers and governance teams, and promote best practices in data design as the organisation transforms to cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong data modelling experience in modern data environments.
• Exposure to Kimball or Data Vault dimensional modelling.
• Experience with cloud data platforms, ideally Microsoft ecosystem.
• Familiarity with dbt, PySpark or Python.
• Interest in progressing into an architectural role.
• Experience in cross-functional teams with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into scalable data solutions.

The Role

Your Skills and Experience

• Strong commercial experience in data modelling within modern data environments
• Exposure to dimensional modelling approaches such as Kimball or Data Vault
• Experience working with cloud data platforms, ideally within the Microsoft ecosystem
• Familiarity with tools such as dbt, PySpark or Python is beneficial
• Understanding of data architecture principles and a clear interest in progressing into an architectural role
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to translate complex requirements into structured and scalable data solutions
