Job description

Role Title: Data Migration Lead
IR35: Outside
Rate: £550-650 per day
Location: London | Hybrid (2x days/week) | As project needs emerge
Length: 12-months from initial outset

SystemsAccountants are supporting a PE-backed business who are undergoing a System Selection initiative who are very likely to select Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O. The business is looking to engage an interim Data Migration Lead resource early to ensure a robust Data Migration strategy and framework for delivery.

Scope:

• Design Data Migration Strategy: Develop and implement a robust data migration strategy to ensure a seamless transition from legacy systems to the new ERP platform.
• Assess Data Quality: Conduct thorough assessments of legacy data to identify and address quality issues, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Data Mapping and Transformation: Create detailed data mapping and transformation plans to facilitate the migration process.
• Data Extraction and Loading: Perform the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to migrate data to the ERP system.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR & Finance teams, business analysts, and ERP consultants, to ensure alignment and successful data migration.
• Testing and Validation: Develop and execute data validation and testing protocols to ensure migrated data meets quality standards.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data migration processes, methodologies, and outcomes.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on data-related aspects of the ERP system.
