Job Description:

Manpower is currently seeking a Data Migration Lead to work with our global FMCG client Elida Beauty, renowned for brands such as V05, TIGI, Timotei, and Impulse, to become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.

The position is based in Holborn, London. This is a full-time temporary role until 31st Dec 2025, requiring 37.5 hours per week, to start ASAP, Monday-Friday. Compensation for this role is up to £143,000 per annum pro rata, depending on experience.

There will be a requirement to work onsite 2-3 days per week, depending on business needs (role currently offers a mix of remote & onsite working, subject to change).

Unilever divested Elida Beauty, creating a private equity-owned standalone business with a focus on a portfolio of 24 core brands. Founded in 2021, Elida Beauty's headquarters are in Holborn, London.

Overview

As the Data Migration Lead within Elida Beauty’s separation program, you will manage and optimize data-related activities during the organizational transition. Your role involves refining the data migration strategy, facilitating data migration, and ensuring data quality during the separation process.

You should be a driven individual with experience leading data migration on major transformation programs, managing stakeholder expectations under tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the separation program team, functional teams, and IT to drive data migration activities, create a clear plan, identify risks, and re-prioritize work through stakeholder negotiation.
• Work with SI partners and relevant Elida Beauty and Unilever teams to scope activities for the separation.
• Develop and communicate the data migration approach and plan.
• Develop an end-to-end data validation approach.
• Manage data quality risks and issues.
• Support cutover planning and execution for data activities.
• Support post-go-live data migration activities.

Expected Skills / Experience

• 10+ years in data architecture, data migration, or related roles.
• Knowledge of Business Central is a significant advantage.
• Experience leading major transformation projects, ideally divestments.
• Excellent communication skills, able to articulate technical plans simply.
• Knowledge of SAP data tables.

Scope

• Manage data migration of R&D / PLM data from Oracle PLM to Specright for the Tigi brand.
• Coordinate data extraction activities with Unilever for their brands.
• Manage transformation and load activities for Unilever brands to Business Central, Kinaxis, and third-party providers.
• Oversee end-to-end ETL activities for the Tigi brand.
• Support migration of non-structured data like artwork and digital assets.
• Manage HR data migration from Unilever’s Workday to Elida Beauty’s UKG HCM and payroll systems.
