Job summary

Markerstudy Group is seeking an IT Database & Data Migration Analyst to own the data workstream of the IFS Cloud programme. You will administer Oracle and SQL Server, lead data migration efforts, ensure data quality and governance, and support Power BI reporting.

The role focuses on planning, extraction, cleansing, transformation and validation, collaborating with stakeholders and implementation partners to deliver a secure, reliable data platform within IFS Cloud.

Qualifications

• Advanced SQL development and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience delivering data migration projects involving large and complex datasets.
• Experience designing and carrying out data reconciliation and validation activities, with a good understanding of data governance.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Monitor and optimise database performance, security, availability and capacity.
• Manage backups, restores, upgrades, patching and disaster recovery.
• Lead the IFS Cloud data migration, including planning, extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation and reconciliation.
• Coordinate migration activities with stakeholders, suppliers and implementation partners.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues and support data governance.
• Develop complex SQL queries, database views and support Power BI reporting.
• Provide database expertise throughout the IFS Cloud implementation, including testing, cutover and go-live.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
