Data Migration Analyst (Extraction & Transformation)

We are seeking a Data Migration Analyst on behalf of a Local Authority Client based in Yorkshire.

Salary: £500 - £600 per day (Outside IR35) - negotiable for exceptional candidates, based on experience.

Contract type: Initial 6 months, with the possibility of extension up to one year.

Hours: 4 days a week.

Job Purpose:
  1. Oversee data extraction from legacy systems to ensure appropriateness, adequacy, and timeliness.
  2. Support data transformation from legacy systems into the format required by the Access Group, using supplied migration documents and expertise.
  3. Ensure transformed files are correctly formatted, located, and delivered on schedule per the project plan.
  4. Assist in data testing and resolve migration issues.
  5. Provide training and support to ICT&D team members.
  6. Coordinate with project leads to communicate progress, issues, and data quality concerns.
Experience:
  • Experience with MOSAIC essential.
  • Experience in the Local Authority/Public Sector.
