Job summary

Candour is seeking a Technical Data Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and vision for a cutting-edge Data Mesh ecosystem in a London-based role with hybrid/remote options. You will collaborate with analytics, AI, and integration teams to align with business goals and regulatory requirements.

You will lead cross-functional teams through end-to-end product development, foster strategic partnerships with vendors, and drive data governance and cost optimization across the data platform.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with modern data architectures including Data Mesh and event-driven patterns.
• Experience delivering regulated, cloud-based data platforms.
• Knowledge of GDPR/regulatory considerations in data ecosystems.
• Ability to translate business needs into measurable data products.

Responsibilities

• Define Product Strategy & Vision for the Data Ecosystem.
• Engage Stakeholders with business, engineering, architecture and data teams.
• Foster Strategic Partnerships with third-party vendors.
• Lead end-to-end product development from ideation to deployment.
• Promote Data Culture by embedding best practices in the roadmap.
• Ensure Compliance by embedding data governance and privacy regulations.
• Optimize Performance through data-driven reviews and enhancements.
• Manage Backlogs by prioritizing features and value.
• Drive Cost Optimization via a FinOps framework.
