Job summary

Chertsey High School is seeking a Data Manager to maintain accurate pupil and staff data within the MIS and to support census and reporting requirements. The role is based at Chertsey High School, part of Bourne Education Trust, with a focus on safeguarding and data integrity.

Applicants should have strong organisational skills, experience with school MIS data, and be committed to high standards of data governance and safeguarding.

Details

Position: Data Manager

Hours: 35 hours per week, 42 weeks per year (Mon - Fri, 8am - 4pm)

Key responsibilities include:
  • Ensure all data held by the school’s Management Information System (MIS) is up-todate and accurate. This includes managing and maintaining the pupil database, staff year-end processes, amendments to pupil timetables
  • Carry out the pupil-related census and statutory returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Manage and maintain assessment data to enable reports to parents, provide feedback to staff, and work with the appointed SLT lead to provide the required data
Requirements include:
  • An awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children
  • Excellent organisational skills, particularly concerning data handling and the maintenance of records
