Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in bioinformatics, computational biology, data science or related quantitative discipline.
• Experience in bioinformatics analysis and/or data engineering of complex biological datasets.
• Proficiency in Python or R with ability to build reproducible analytical workflows.
• Understanding of FAIR data principles and data protection requirements in biomedical research.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain shared metadata templates and standards.
• Maintain a programme-level data catalogue.
• Establish shared GitHub resources to support reproducibility and reuse.
• Analyze functional genomics datasets and liaise with partner researchers.
• Support deposition and linking of data, code and research outputs across sites.
