Job summary

Tarmac Trading Limited is seeking a Data Lead for the Falcon SAP S/4HANA transformation programme in the UK. You will own the integrated data roadmap, lead a small team of analysts, and drive governance, data quality and readiness across multiple source systems.

You will coordinate with senior stakeholders and implementation partners to ensure smooth migrations, testing, and cutovers while delivering reusable data governance practices across future waves.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading data workstreams within large-scale transformation programmes.
• Experience in data governance, stewardship, quality management, lineage, cataloguing and control frameworks.
• Experience in data migration planning, source-to-target mapping, cleansing and readiness assessment.
• Experience managing analysts and coordinating third-party suppliers against critical deadlines.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders, architects, integration teams and partners.
• Experience reporting readiness, risks and decisions within governance structures.
• Experience supporting testing, cutover and hypercare from a data perspective.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and collaborative leadership skills.
• Degree or equivalent in Data/IS/CS/Math/Business; certifications desirable.
• SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA experience is a significant advantage.
• Salesforce experience is a significant advantage.
• Experience in logistics, fleet, or operational platforms is an advantage.
• Experience in construction materials, manufacturing or industrial environments is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the integrated Falcon data roadmap, managing milestones, dependencies, risks and delivery outcomes.
• Lead a team of three Data Analysts, providing direction, coaching and quality oversight.
• Champion data governance and delivery standards throughout the programme lifecycle.
• Define data ownership, stewardship, standards and acceptance criteria with business stakeholders.
• Oversee data discovery, profiling and quality assessments across multiple source systems.
• Govern data mapping, transformation, cleansing and reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Coordinate business, technical and supplier teams to align data requirements with process and solution design.
• Plan and manage migration cycles, mock loads, dress rehearsals, cutover activities and hypercare support.
• Provide clear reporting on data readiness, risks and quality issues to programme leadership and governance forums.
• Drive continuous improvement and leave behind stronger governance, controls and reusable best practices for future deployment waves.
