Job summary

Practice Plus Group is recruiting a Data Lead to support the healthcare team at HMP Leeds in West Yorkshire. You will be responsible for accurate reporting using standardised data entry templates (Excel) for internal and external stakeholders, and for maintaining high data quality across site level performance reporting.

Experience with SystmOne is advantageous, and the role involves data audits, ad hoc reports, and collaboration with the HoHc / RPL.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as Data Analyst / Data Lead.
  • Organised and methodical work style.
  • Excellent written communication skills and ability to reproduce presentations.
  • Ability to translate findings into meaningful reports and documents.
  • Experience of data quality and developing data quality.

Responsibilities

  • Completion of accurate reporting using standardised data entry templates (Excel) for internal and external stakeholders.
  • High level of data quality checking for all site level performance reporting submissions.
  • Carry out Data Quality and other Audits as required, with remedial actions agreed with HoHc / RPL.
  • Ability to produce ad hoc reports / data requests from various stakeholders.
  • Management of appropriate degraded items on SystmOne and signposting for action.
  • Task administration and monitoring.
  • Experience and ability to learn to interpret and analyse complex data sets.
  • Provide Report completion Induction training for new data lead starters.
  • Carry out system searches / reports and enter data on provided templates (Ops Dashboard, Gilead Data, HJIPs).

We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Lead at HMP Leeds based in West Yorkshire.

HMP Leeds is a busy male category B prison with a capacity for 1120 inmates.

We are recruiting for an experienced Data Lead to support the healthcare team within the prison. Previous experience using SystmOne would be an advantage.

Hours

Monday - Friday

Can be flexible with start and finish times inside of core hours of 0730 - 1700.

Salary

This position is full time and the salary is paying up to £33,510.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks

What you'll be doing
  • Completion of accurate reporting using standardised data entry templates (Excel), for both internal and external stakeholders
  • High level of data quality checking for all site level performance reporting submissions
  • Carry out Data Quality and other Audits as required, agreeing with the HoHc / RPL any remedial actions as a result of the audit
  • Ability to produce ad hoc reports / data requests from various stakeholders
  • Management of appropriate degraded items on SystmOne and the signposting of clinical/other degraded items for action.
  • Task administration and monitoring
  • Experience and / or ability to learn how to interpret and analyse complex data sets
  • Provide Report completion Induction training for new administrative / data lead starters as required
  • Carry out system searches / reports as directed and entering the data on the provided data entry templates, ensuring accuracy and efficiency i.e. Ops Dashboard, Gilead Data, HJIPs etc
