Job summary

Aries Global in London seeks a data-focused intern to join our high-growth team. You will help build and maintain our core data infrastructure, write SQL queries, ingest data via APIs, and help organize data for reporting and investment decisions.

You’ll work closely with founders and leaders, gaining hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar warehouses, Git, and a fast-paced, ownership-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data-related field with hands-on data experience.
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with relational databases.
• Knowledge of Python or another coding language.

Responsibilities

• Support the build-out and maintenance of core data infrastructure.
• Translate business questions into data-driven answers with the analytics stack.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
• Develop and maintain data models to structure raw data for reporting.
• Ingest data via APIs and automate recurring data pulls.
• Contribute to projects within our cloud data warehouse (Snowflake or similar).
• Use Git for version control and collaborate across Aries teams.
• Explain findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
