Job summary

Aries Global is seeking a data internship candidate to help build and maintain our core data infrastructure, working directly with the data and analytics stack to keep information clean, structured, and accessible.

You will translate business questions into data-driven answers, write and optimize SQL queries, assist in developing data models, and collaborate with founders and leaders across Aries' group companies to deliver reliable analysis and actionable insights during a fast-paced internship

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, CS, or Engineering.
• Strong SQL skills and relational database knowledge.
• Experience with Python or another coding language.
• Familiarity with Snowflake or cloud data warehouses.
• Experience with REST APIs and Git.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain core data infrastructure and ensure data cleanliness.
• Translate business questions into data-driven answers with stakeholders.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
• Develop and maintain data models for reporting.
• Ingest data from external sources via APIs.
• Contribute to projects in our cloud data warehouse (Snowflake or similar).
• Use Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Collaborate with founders and leaders across Aries' group companies to understand data needs.
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
