Ventula Consulting Ltd. in Hull is seeking a Data Governance Manager for a hybrid role (3x on-site per week). You will build and establish an enterprise data governance capability from the ground up, moving from fragmented practices to a governed, trusted framework.

The role requires strong DAMA DMBOK knowledge and practical UK GDPR expertise, with emphasis on transforming data quality, metadata, lineage and stewardship into scalable operational processes across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience building data governance frameworks from scratch.
• Strong knowledge of DAMA DMBOK or an equivalent framework.
• Strong understanding of UK GDPR and related controls.
• Turning concepts like data quality, metadata, lineage and stewardship into operational processes.
