Arbuthnot Latham is a private and commercial banking group seeking a senior Data Governance lead to drive governance across data, compliance and risk. You will lead the Data Quality team and embed a mature operating model for data ownership and stewardship.
You will work with IT and business units to implement governance, define policies, monitor KPIs, and promote data literacy while ensuring GDPR and PRA/FS regulatory alignment.

Job Purpose
Working closelywith the wider data team, engineers, analysts, compliance, and business functions to ensure data is governed, understood, and fit for purpose across its lifecycle, the role will lead the development and embedding of an enhanced data governance regime, evolving our current approach into a more mature, structured and fully embedded operating model (including data ownership and active stewardship engagement).
Furthermore this role will manage and extend our internal Data Quality function, ensuring issues are identified and remediated with minimal impact on the business, or our clients.
To place the interests of customers at the centre of all activities, act in a way that is consistent with achieving good outcomes for consumers and to comply with the FCA and PRA's Conduct Rules.
