Recruit with Purpose in the West Midlands is hiring a Data Governance Manager to shape how data is governed, trusted and owned across the organisation. You’ll establish a Data Governance Framework, operate with Data Owners and Data Stewards, and drive clearer data quality standards.

You’ll work with business colleagues to translate governance into practice, influence senior stakeholders and drive AI governance as the function matures. Hybrid, with a salary up to £60,000.

Qualifications

• Developed or implemented a Data Governance Framework.
• Experience across data ownership, stewardship, quality, metadata, or cataloguing.
• Experience with Azure, Microsoft Fabric, BI or modern data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and embed the Data Governance Framework and Operating Model.
• Establish Data Owner and Data Steward communities.
• Improve Data Quality and create clearer accountability for data.
• Engage with the business to drive adoption of data governance.
• Shape metadata, data cataloguing, and business glossary.
• Head up AI governance as the role evolves.
