Nationwide is seeking a Data Governance Manager to embed robust data practices across Retail Products. You will define metadata, oversee data quality, and ensure data assets are well governed to support decision making.

You’ll partner with business experts, build a network of data professionals, and champion a data-driven culture across the organisation while mentoring a small team. Hybrid working available nationwide.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience defining metadata, data dictionaries, and data quality rules.
• Experience profiling data to inform business rules and data quality.
• Ability to articulate value cases to address metadata issues.
• Ability to understand business scopes and ensure accurate metadata.
• Experience delivering technical solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with Data Governance tools (Collibra, Informatica).
• Experience with SAS and/or SQL.
• Excellent organisational skills and proactive self-management.

Responsabilités

• Identify and document critical data assets in a central repository.
• Champion best practice in data management and governance.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to promote a data-driven culture.
• Implement metadata management, data lineage, and data quality reporting.
• Ensure data is governed and reusable across the Society.
• Coach and develop a small team of data professionals.
