Job summary

Wales & West Utilities Limited is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to support the implementation and maintenance of data governance frameworks, policies, and processes. This role ensures data is accurate, consistent, and compliant with regulatory requirements, enabling the organisation to maximise the value of its data assets.

The role involves working closely with stakeholders across business and technology teams to define data standards, monitor data quality, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

Experience in data governance or data management roles.
Exposure to data quality monitoring and remediation.
Experience working with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with data owners and stewards to define and document critical data elements.
Monitor and report on data quality metrics, identifying issues and recommending remediation.
Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure alignment on data governance objectives.
Identify opportunities to enhance data governance processes and tools.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions on data governance practices.
