Job summary

La Fosse is seeking a hands-on Data Governance Analyst to help build the governance foundations. You’ll identify CDEs, map data from source to domain, build the glossary and dictionary, and draft data quality rules under the governance lead.

On-site for workshops, with remote work the rest of the time in a hybrid London role. You’ll work with Purview, perform source-to-target mappings, and ensure governance artefacts are accurate and ready for sign-off.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data governance experience: CDEs, glossary, dictionary, metadata and lineage.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview and data governance tooling.
• Source-to-target mapping and data quality considerations.

Responsibilities

• Identify critical data elements (CDEs) with owners and stewards and capture definitions.
• Map CDEs to data domains, products and business terms.
• Draft data quality rules and thresholds for CDEs across dimensions.
• Maintain business glossary, data dictionary and data product catalog entries.
• Prepare workshop packs and record decisions with sign-off evidence.
