Job summary

Insight is seeking an experienced data engineering leader to design, develop, and deliver end-to-end data solutions on Google Cloud Platform and related cloud platforms. You will build robust ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt, Python, and SQL, apply advanced data modeling, and drive MDM initiatives.

You will lead senior teams, define enterprise data architecture, and ensure high data quality and governance while aligning with delivery standards. Onsite roles in Bristol or Manchester offered.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering end-to-end data engineering on cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with dbt, Python and SQL.
• Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) implementations.
• Ability to lead senior delivery teams and set data architecture strategy.

Responsibilities

• Utilize DevOps tooling and deployment best practices for efficient, reliable production go-lives.
• Provide senior technical leadership to multidisciplinary feature teams, ensuring delivery excellence.
• Define and support enterprise data architecture and MDM strategy.
• Work strictly within specified delivery, architecture, engineering, security, and governance standards.
• Deliver data solutions that improve the quality, richness, and consumption-readiness of FDP data.
• Ensure all team members are based in Bristol or Manchester and are immediately available for onboarding.
• Deliver experienced, delivery-ready practitioners without reliance on academic projects or long mobilization periods.
