Job summary

Leonardo in Edinburgh is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, deploy and maintain data architecture, ensuring scalable, reliable data ingestion and processing pipelines to support evolving business and operational demands.

You will collaborate with data scientists, IT and architecture teams, implement CI/CD, data governance, batch and real-time processing, and continuously improve data quality while enabling prescriptive and predictive analytics.

Qualifications

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data services.
• Familiar with CI/CD, containerisation, and workflow orchestration.
• Experience with ETL/ELT and big data processing tools like Spark, Airflow, Hive.
