You’ll split time between coaching and running agile ceremonies, setting quarterly OKRs, and designing, building, and reviewing dbt models and pipelines on Google Cloud BigQuery to ensure reliable, high-performance data. Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on data engineering with initial leadership experience.
• Production-level dbt model and pipeline design on Google Cloud BigQuery.
• Expert SQL and strong Python scripting for orchestration (Airflow/Cloud Composer).
• Experience running agile delivery and owning delivery commitments.
• Professional English language skills (B2 or higher).

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of 2-4 data engineers while remaining technically hands-on.
• Spend half the time growing the team, running sprint planning and retros, and owning quarterly OKRs.
• Design, build, and review high-quality dbt models and pipelines on BigQuery.
• Ensure data reliability and performance for action-ready analytics.
