Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience with advanced SQL, particularly in Oracle/PostgreSQL.
• Proven experience building production data pipelines at scale.
• Solid experience in Java, including collections, streaming, and filters.

🚀 Data Engineer – Fully Remote (UK) | Global Fintech

Our client is building next‑generation data capabilities to power a merchant‑first ecosystem, and they are looking for a hands‑on Data Engineer with strong production experience to join the team.

The Role

As a Data Engineer, you will:

• Design and maintain scalable, resilient data pipelines
• Build cloud‑native workflows and robust ETL/ELT processes
• Optimise SQL and enhance data quality across production systems
• Transform and model data for analytics, reporting, and finance
• Collaborate with BI, Finance, and Engineering teams
• Own deliverables end‑to‑end in a fast‑moving environment
• Minimum 2 years Advanced SQL (Oracle/PostgreSQL):
• Complex queries, optimisation, and financial‑grade precision (8–10 decimal points)
• Solid Java experience (collections, streaming, filters)
• Proven experience building production data pipelines at scale
• Exposure to financial data and mission‑critical systems
• Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Airbyte)
• Familiarity with SOAP/REST APIs, cloud storage (S3, Blob, Oracle Bucket)
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift) & DBT
