Lithium3 IT Consulting Limited in Leeds seeks an experienced Head of Data Engineering to own the data engineering function, set engineering standards and drive delivery. You will lead a team of Data Engineers, establish best practices, and ensure the data platform delivers robust and scalable outcomes.

The role requires a strong Databricks background, with the credibility to review code/architecture, set development standards and provide leadership to the wider team.

Formación

• Experience leading data engineering teams.
• Strong Databricks background and data platform leadership.
• Ability to define development standards and review architecture.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the Data Engineering team, providing technical direction, mentoring and development.
• Establish and maintain data engineering standards, coding standards and best practices.
• Set expectations around code quality, testing, documentation, version control and deployment.
• Provide technical leadership across data engineering architecture and delivery.
• Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data solutions.
• Lead design, development and optimization of data pipelines and data products.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, secure and maintainable.
• Review current practices and drive improvements.
