Job summary

The Hyde Group is seeking a Data Engineering Analyst to join our Data Engineering & Information Systems Architecture team in London Bridge. You will help turn data into reliable information to support reporting, analysis and service improvement.

You’ll build and maintain data pipelines, bring data sources into Snowflake and ensure data accuracy, security and dependability. You’ll work with Senior and Lead Data Engineers and business colleagues, delivering defined work with guidance on complex

Qualifications

• Practical experience developing or supporting data pipelines, integrations or data warehouse processes in cloud-based environments.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Python, able to write, test and troubleshoot code.
• Understanding of data modelling, ETL/ELT, data quality and warehousing concepts; familiarity with Snowflake or AWS is relevant.
• Methodical approach to investigating technical issues, organizing workload and knowing when to seek guidance.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, experience with version control and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and improve data pipelines and integrations using approved tools and engineering practices.
• Transform, cleanse and validate data to meet quality requirements for reporting and analysis.
• Monitor scheduled processes, investigate routine failures and escalate issues needing specialist input.
• Test changes, maintain version-controlled code and document data flows for support and safe change management.
• Collaborate with colleagues to understand requirements, deliver outputs and identify automation opportunities.
• Apply data governance, security and UK GDPR requirements to daily work.
