Role Overview

As a Data Engineer, you will be involved in designing, developing, and delivering full data solutions, particularly data reporting, using the Microsoft BI stack. You should have strong T-SQL skills, experience in performance dashboard development, creating SSRS reports, and data visualization tools such as Power BI. Experience in developing and maintaining Data Warehouses is also required.

You must have experience developing in Visual Studio and deploying via Azure DevOps pipelines, with a focus on test-driven development. Mentoring team members and working with business stakeholders to shape report and dashboard requirements are also key responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data solutions across the company.
  • Deliver and maintain performance dashboards for operational teams and external customers.
  • Develop and maintain SSRS reports for MI/BI access.
  • Contribute to the design and development of Power BI solutions.
  • Follow and promote software development standards.
  • Provide technical support and development skills across the organization.
  • Work with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps pipelines, promoting test-driven development.
  • Liaise with third-party software providers throughout the project lifecycle.

Extensive experience with a variety of tools and implementations, capable of making informed decisions, and proven team collaboration skills.
