FDO Consulting Limited is seeking a Data Engineer to join an expanding financial services client. The role focuses on on-prem Microsoft data solutions with strong SQL/ETL expertise, in a regulated environment.

The position involves delivering enterprise data solutions on Microsoft platforms, collaborating with architects and senior data engineers, and participating in agile ceremonies. Remote work options exist with a sensible commute to Marlow or Canary Wharf.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in data engineering and business intelligence.
• Experience working in a regulated environment (ideally financial services).
• Expertise in SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, etc.
• Expertise with data pipelines and integrations (ETL / ELT).
• Good understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modelling, data normalisation, etc.
• Knowledge of data manipulation languages (T-SQL, DAX).
• Agile (ideally Kanban).
• Power BI.

Data Engineer, On prem, SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Regulated environment. One day a month in Marlow, Buckinghamshire or Canary Wharf, London. Salary £ 55000 - 60000 + excellent benefits

Please be aware the majority of the work is on-Prem so strong on-prem skills are critical with some cloud knowledge. You must have also worked in a regulated environment (ideally financial services).

Expanding financial services client are looking for a Data Engineer to join their team. Working with MS technologies you will be part of a team that will implement complex data solutions that provide best in class customer experience and allow the business to make data driven decisions. Working across the business you will develop solutions aligned to business requirements.

Key Accountabilities -

Experience Required -

Knowledge of scripting languages and cloud technologies is an advantage however this role is mainly on-prem.
