Job summary

FDO Consulting Limited is hiring a Data Engineer for an on-prem data stack in a regulated financial services environment, with occasional travel to Marlow or Canary Wharf.

The role centers on SQL, SSIS/SSRS/SSAS, Power BI and robust ETL/ELT pipelines, with some cloud knowledge in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, ADLS and Fabric. You will work with a team to deliver enterprise data solutions and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in data engineering and BI in regulated environments.
• Strong on-premises data integration and MS technologies.
• Proficient in PowerBI and SQL-based ETL/ELT.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver enterprise data solutions on Microsoft platforms.
• Collaborate with architects and senior data engineers.
• Participate in agile ceremonies.
• Create documentation and release notes.
• Conduct testing prior to release.
