Job summary
DCV Technologies in Sheffield is seeking a Data Engineer to strengthen data foundations and deliver trusted data products for Operational Resilience. You will design scalable pipelines, leverage GCP/BigQuery, and publish reusable assets across the Data Fabric.
The role requires hands-on data modelling, governance, metadata, and strong collaboration with senior stakeholders in an Agile environment. Hybrid work with 2 days in office and 3 days remote is offered.
Qualifications
- Proven data engineering with end-to-end solutions.
- Strong SQL and Python development.
- Hands-on with GCP/BigQuery and data platforms.
- Knowledge of data modelling, governance, metadata and lineage.
- Understanding of Operational Resilience and risk reporting.
- Experience with Agile (JIRA/Confluence) environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery of data foundations for Operational Resilience.
- Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products.
- Develop solutions on GCP/BigQuery and publish reusable assets to Data Fabric.
- Implement data quality, governance, lineage and metadata standards.
- Create data models supporting MI, resilience reporting and scenario analysis.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers and business stakeholders.
- Own technical delivery, documentation and backlog management.
