Job summary

Warwickshire County Council is seeking a Data Engineer to design and maintain data pipelines, integrations and analytical platforms in support of services and decision-making. The role supports a move to modern data practices, cloud services, and AI-enabled development across a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates will have experience with SQL, Python, ETL pipelines, and Power BI data modeling, along with GIS familiarity and Git version control.

Qualifications

• Ability to extract, transform and query data using SQL, Python or other ETL tools
• Experience designing/managing queries and data models in Power BI (DAX)
• Experience with PostgreSQL/PostGIS and cloud storage/data lake solutions
• Experience with GIS tools (ArcGIS/ArcGIS Online/QGIS) and version control (Git)
