Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking a Data Engineer to own and evolve its Microsoft Fabric-based data platform. You will design, build and maintain lakehouses, warehouses, data pipelines and semantic models, while delivering reliable BI solutions using Power BI.

The role focuses on SQL/ETL, data governance and security, collaboration with stakeholders, and flexibility with hybrid working hours. A strong SQL background, Power BI and scripting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong Data Engineering experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Excellent SQL skills and experience with ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience with data modelling, integration and API connectivity.
• Understanding of data governance, security and data quality.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Power BI, DAX and semantic modelling.
• Python or PowerShell scripting.
• Microsoft certifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Microsoft Fabric Lakehouses, Warehouses, Data Pipelines and Semantic Models.
• Develop and manage ETL/ELT pipelines, integrating SQL, SAP and other business systems.
• Manage data quality, governance, security and performance.
• Develop and support Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Support SQL databases, including troubleshooting, migration and optimisation.
• Work with stakeholders to deliver scalable data and analytics solutions.
