Job summary

Client Server Limited is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to build and evolve a modern AWS cloud data platform in London, with three days in the office and two remote per week. The role focuses on designing data pipelines, ingestion frameworks and processing workflows for financial data in a scaling fintech environment.

You will collaborate with the Data Platform Engineer on data modelling, database optimisation and onboarding of new data sources, while ensuring platform reliability and

Qualifications

Experience as a Data Engineer in FinTech or financial services.
Strong SQL and Python coding skills.
AWS experience with Data Lakes and S3.
Experience building large-scale data pipelines.
Experience with PostgreSQL.
Experience with time-series data (TimescaleDB or similar).
Experience with orchestration platforms such as Dagster or Airflow.
Collaborative with good communication.

Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain data pipelines and ingestion workflows.
Collaborate on platform design, data modelling and governance.
Optimise PostgreSQL and time-series data environments on AWS.
Ensure data quality, reliability, and scalable data architecture.
