Data Engineer — ETL & Data Warehouse (12-Month FTC)

Job summary

Keepmoat is seeking a Data Engineer to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term basis at Lakeside, Doncaster. You will design and implement data integrations, build data models and ETL processes for BI solutions, and drive data initiatives across the organisation.

You will work closely with the BI Manager, stakeholders, and the Project Quanta team to automate data flows, enhance data quality, and support COINS ERP transformations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven professional experience in Data Engineering or BI/Analytics.
• Experience with data integration and ETL tools (Informatica).
• Relational DB and SQL experience (SQL Server/Azure SQL).
• Knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modelling and ETL techniques.
• Coding/scripting experience (Python and/or PowerShell).
• Experience with APIs and Azure DevOps in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data integrations between business applications and data warehouse.
• Lead delivery of data initiatives aligning with the data strategy roadmap.
• Engage with stakeholders to define technical requirements for integration solutions.
• Re-engineer manual data flows into automated scalable processes.
• Develop data management reports and dashboards.
• Maintain ETL processes and data warehouse lifecycle activities.
• Create technical documentation and promote best practices in data engineering.
