Client Server Limited is seeking a Data Engineer (Python Databricks SQL) to join their fintech-focused team in Newcastle on site. You will build and maintain data pipelines, curate datasets, and implement scalable data models to support front-office analytics and operations.

You will collaborate with front office teams, ensure data quality standards, and leverage Databricks, SQL, Spark, and Python to deliver reliable, scalable data solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• 2.1 BSc from a top-tier university in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong commercial Data Engineering experience and best practices.
• Experience with Databricks, and preferably Azure.
• Proficiency in SQL, Apache Spark, Python with PySpark and Pandas.
• Desire to join a fast-paced fintech/start-up environment and influence the role.
• Excellent collaborative and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Understand data needs of front office teams and align data capabilities with business goals.
• Develop and operate the firm's data platform using in-house and third-party tools.
• Analyze and automate data-related processes to streamline workflows and reduce manual work.
• Build and maintain data pipelines from external providers and ensure high-quality data integration.
• Curate and manage datasets to support analytical and operational needs.
• Design pragmatic data models and architectures fit for a fast-paced environment.
• Establish and enforce data standards and quality controls across the organization.
