Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Data Engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks.
• Experience delivering ETL and data integration solutions.
• Strong SQL and Python development skills.
• Experience with relational databases and cloud-based data platforms.
• Knowledge of data warehousing principles and modern architectures (Medallion Architecture preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise scalable data pipelines within Databricks.
• Develop and enhance ETL processes to integrate data from sources.
• Create efficient transformations using SQL and Python.
• Take ownership of SQL development, including queries, procedures and optimisation.
• Contribute to data warehouses, data models and broader data architecture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, performance and scalability.
