Job summary

Bristol Airport is seeking a Data Engineer to join our diverse IT team. This full-time, hybrid role requires delivering data ingestion, transformation and storage solutions on the Azure data platform to support analytics and reporting.

You will work closely with business users, translate data needs into practical solutions, and help drive data-driven transformation across the airport.

Bristol Airport are recruiting for a Data Engineer to join our diverse and collaborative IT team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the airport’s data-driven transformation during a period of significant change.

The role requires excellent technical capability, a pragmatic delivery mindset, and the ability to engage closely with business users to turn data needs into reliable, user-friendly solutions. If you are a hands-on Data Engineer who enjoys working close to the business, delivering practical data solutions, and supporting end users through analytics, reporting, and data-driven applications, this could be for you!

This is a full time, hybrid role, with a minimum of 2 days in the office.

More about the Role

Working under the direction of the Data Architect, the Data Engineer will implement data solutions that support both large-scale strategic programmes and smaller business-led initiatives, ensuring consistency with data architecture standards while remaining responsive to operational needs. The role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions across the airport’s Azure data platform.
