Job summary

RED GLOBAL TRANSPORTES is seeking a Data Engineer to join a long-term Enterprise Data Platform & Analytics Programme in Knutsford. The role is hybrid, with 2-3 days on site per week. The project starts ASAP and involves building scalable data pipelines using Python, SQL, Spark, and AWS, across structured and unstructured data.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise data integration and analytics needs, delivering robust data solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in data engineering and pipeline development.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and integrating data across enterprise platforms.
• Proficiency with Python, SQL, Spark or similar data processing technologies.
• Experience with structured and unstructured data at scale.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data services and storage solutions, preferably AWS.
• Experience supporting enterprise data integration initiatives.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

RED now has a new contract opportunity for a Data Engineer to join one of our key partners on a long-term Enterprise Data Platform & Analytics Programme.

This contract is to start ASAP and will be hybrid, with 2-3 days per week onsite in Knutsford, UK.

Specific skills/experience required:

• Strong hands-on experience in Data Engineering and data pipeline development
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and integrating data across enterprise platforms
• Strong proficiency with Python, SQL, Spark or similar data processing technologies
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data at scale
