Job summary

RED Global is seeking a Data Engineer to join a long-term Enterprise Data Platform & Analytics Programme in Knutsford. The role is hybrid, with 2-3 days onsite in Knutsford, UK.

You will apply hands-on data engineering skills to design and develop data pipelines, work with Python, SQL and Spark, and integrate data across enterprise platforms for scalable analytics initiatives within a UK-based team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Data Engineering and data pipeline development.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and integrating data across enterprise platforms.
• Proficiency with Python, SQL, Spark or similar data processing technologies.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data at scale.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data services and storage solutions, preferably AWS.
• Experience supporting enterprise data integration initiatives.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

RED now has a new contract opportunity for a Data Engineer to join one of our key partners on a long-term Enterprise Data Platform & Analytics Programme.

This contract is to start ASAP and will be hybrid, with 2-3 days per week onsite in Knutsford, UK.

Specific skills/experience required:

• Strong hands-on experience in Data Engineering and data pipeline development
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and integrating data across enterprise platforms
• Strong proficiency with Python, SQL, Spark or similar data processing technologies
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data at scale
