Job summary

MHR International UK Limited is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer in Newcastle. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions within a collaborative, creative environment.

The role is hybrid with 3 onsite days at our Newcastle office and involves working in a Scrum Team to deliver high-quality software. You will contribute to Cloud-based development on Azure, apply secure REST APIs, and mentor junior colleagues while embracing best practices to drive impact and

• Strong understanding of Azure services for cloud-based development.
• Knowledge of web security, RESTful Web Services and API design.
• Experience with modern unit testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Deep knowledge of software engineering concepts such as design patterns, SOLID, polymorphism, threading.
• Experience mentoring junior team members.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services for cloud-based development.
• Knowledge of web security, RESTful Web Services and RESTful architecture and API design principles.
• Experience with modern unit testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Deep knowledge of software engineering concepts such as design patterns, SOLID principles, polymorphism, and threading.
• Experience mentoring junior members of staff

PLEASE NOTE: This is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite in our Newcastle office.
