Job summary

MERITUS are recruiting two Data Engineers to join a leading Technology Consultancy, supporting secure data engineering across major UK Defence programmes. The roles are 6-month contracts inside IR35, based in Malvern with hybrid remote work and 3 days on-site.

You'll work with Python, SQL and Databricks in modern cloud environments, primarily AWS with a planned move to Google Secure Cloud, and you will contribute to data pipelines, ETL/ELT processing, and secure data handling for Defence

Qualifications

• Experience as a Data Engineer, Data Developer or similar.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Commercial Databricks experience.
• Experience with data pipelines, ETL/ELT or data processing.
• Understanding of cloud data engineering.
• Active SC or DV Clearance

DATA ENGINEER - 6 MONTH CONTRACT (INSIDE IR35) - UP TO £700/DAY - GREAT MALVERN (HYBRID) - 3 DAYS ON-SITE - SC CLEARANCE REQUIRED

We're looking for two Data Engineers to on Initial 6 month contracts to join a Defence Consultancy based in Malvern.

The roles will suit engineers with strong Python, SQL and Databricks experience, working across modern cloud-based data environments. The platform is currently expected to be AWS, with a planned migration to Google Secure Cloud.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and engineering solutions.
