Job summary

DataCareers is recruiting an SC Cleared Data Engineer to join a leading technology consultancy on a central government programme delivering Defence digital transformation. The role is hybrid, with on-site work in Malvern three days a week.

You will work hands-on across AWS, with a planned migration to Google Secure Cloud, building and maintaining data pipelines, performing data transformation and integration, and handling large, complex datasets in a secure government environment.

Location: Home / Malvern (onsite 3 days a week)

We are looking to recruit an SC Cleared Data Engineer for a leading technology consultancy to join a long-term Central Government programme supporting a major Defence digital transformation initiative.

This is a hands‑on data engineering role working across a broad and evolving technology landscape, with a strong focus on building, developing and supporting modern data solutions within a secure environment.

The current platform is expected to be primarily AWS, with a planned migration towards Google Secure Cloud, so this would suit someone comfortable working across cloud‑based data platforms and adapting to changing technical environments.

This is a hybrid role and you will be expected to work onsite in Malvern 3 days a week.
