Job summary

Undisclosed in London is seeking a Data Engineer / Data Scientist (Junior to Mid-Level) to join its lean technology team within an asset management environment. You will build data pipelines, models and datasets on a modern cloud platform, supporting reporting, analytics and operational processes.

You will develop dashboards using Sigma, Power BI, Tableau or Looker, while integrating investment, operational, market and risk data and contributing to AI-enabled development initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of experience in data engineering, data science, analytics or related field.
• Strong SQL skills with Python experience and exposure to cloud data warehouses (Snowflake/Databricks/BigQuery/Redshift).
• Experience building dashboards/reports with Sigma, Power BI, Tableau or Looker.

We are working with a specialist asset manager with a long track record of performance that is looking to hire a Data Engineer / Data Scientist to join its lean but growing global technology team.

This role sits at the centre of the firm's evolving data platform, helping to transform investment, operational and reference data into trusted, high-quality data assets that support decision-making across the business. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of cloud-based data infrastructure, analytics and reporting capabilities, working with technologies such as Snowflake, SQL, Python and modern BI platforms while also supporting the firm's growing adoption of AI and machine learning tools within its data and development lifecycle.

The preferred candidate will have a solid grounding in data engineering, analytics or data science, be comfortable working with large and complex datasets, and enjoy collaborating with Investment, Operations, Risk and Technology teams.
