Job summary

IO, a Lloyd's broker based in London, is seeking a Data Engineer to join our team on a hybrid basis (4 days onsite, 1 day WFH). The role focuses on building data infrastructure, integrating SQL/NoSQL sources, and enabling advanced analytics using Python and Power BI.

Experience in the insurance sector and familiarity with bordereaux are highly regarded. You will contribute to data migration projects within Azure, automate workflows with Power Automate, and support data-driven decision-making

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years experience in a data engineering or related technical role.
• Proficient in SQL and relational/NoSQL databases.
• Python for automation and data manipulation.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and data migration.
• Experience with Power BI; knowledge of containerisation tools.
• Experience working with insurance data, including bordereaux.
• Knowledge of Power Automate and AI-enabled development tools.
• Background in the insurance industry.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Minimum of four years experience in a data engineering or related technical role.
