Job summary

iO Associates is partnering with a Lloyd's broker in London to recruit a Data Engineer. The role offers London/Hybrid working with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote, and a salary range of £70-80,000 (doe).

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years' experience in a data engineering or related technical role.
• Experience with SQL and relational/NoSQL databases.
• Azure cloud services and data migration experience.
• Experience with insurance data, including bordereaux.
• Knowledge of Power Automate and AI-enabled development tools.
• Must have a background of working in the insurance industry.

As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of data handling within the organisation, contributing directly to more informed decision‑making and operational efficiency. • Minimum of four years' experience in a data engineering or related technical role.
• Proven expertise in SQL and working with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and data manipulation.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and data migration projects.
• Experience with Power BI and knowledge of containerisation tools is a plus.
• Experience working with insurance data, including bordereaux.
• Knowledge of Power Automate and AI-enabled development tools.
• Must have a background of working in the insurance industry.
