Advanced Supply Chain Group in Sheffield is seeking a Warehouse Planning Manager to lead short-, medium-, and long-term site plans, focusing on labour resourcing and turning complex data into actionable insights for business decisions.

The role is full-time permanent, on-site with a hybrid option, offering £40,000-£48,000 per year and a range of family-friendly benefits including enhanced maternity/paternity pay and a salary sacrifice pension.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics, supply chain or 3PL settings.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and processes.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and metrics.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficient in MS Office.
• Strong planning abilities and time management.
• Ability to influence stakeholders with data-driven insights.
• Good appreciation of cost implications in operations.

Responsibilities

• Translate forecasts into operational plans for peak activity.
• Produce daily and weekly labour plans to meet demand.
• Monitor forecasts and performance; adapt plans accordingly.
• Deliver productivity reporting and variance analysis.
• Review forecast accuracy and highlight risks/opportunities.
• Provide insights to improve operational performance and cost efficiency.
• Lead weekly planning and performance reviews with stakeholders.
• Identify staffing gaps and partner with HR for planning.
• Maintain site skills matrices and training plans.
