Brambles' CHEP Pontefract site is seeking a Shift Production Manager to lead one manufacturing shift, develop Operations Supervisors, and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

You will use production data and KPIs to improve productivity, quality and cost, coach frontline teams, and ensure safety and compliance. The role offers a competitive base salary, shift allowance, performance bonus, private healthcare, pension, and career progression.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading production or manufacturing teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience developing frontline leaders (Team Leaders, Supervisors, or Shift Leaders).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing KPIs and performance management.
• Ability to use production data and analytics to drive improvements.
• Experience with investigations, disciplinaries and employee relations processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Operations Supervisors and frontline employees to improve capability and performance.
• Drive shift performance via KPIs, trends and operational metrics.
• Use data-led insights to identify opportunities and improve productivity, quality and efficiency.
• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly performance reviews with actionable outcomes.
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and regulatory compliance across the shift.
